Post-Alfesta Tour

5 Alfas Targa Fleurieu

If you have enjoyed Alfesta 2021, it doesn't have to end on Monday!  A post-Alfesta Tour has been organised for you to take the long way home.

Please note that this is not an official part of Alfesta and you will need to book and pay separately for the Tour.

Overview

The SA Division of AROCA has been running their “Targa Fleurieu” event for some time now, in and around the Fleurieu Peninsula, and would love to share the fun…

So for the 2021 Post-Alfesta Tour we are going to have a special Targa Fleurieu starting on Monday morning and finishing on Tuesday afternoon, on a road that can take you home.

Each day will involve approximately 4 hours driving, which will allow plenty of time for sightseeing, as well as avoiding dawn and dusk – not the best time to be driving and sight-seeing!  Overnight stays will be in regional towns.

More information about the Tour, including how to book, will be available in the near future.

In the mean time if you would like to register your interest, please send an email to Andrew at editor@alfaclubsa.org.au

PS:  Don’t be frightened by the name “Targa”, as in “Targa Florio”.  We don’t expect (or want) you to be leaping your car over the crest of a hill, or sliding around the edge of a precipice...  We use the name in its original European meaning of “plate”, which is what the prize is for the real Targa Florio – a solid gold one!

And we won’t be handing out anything solid gold at the end of this little adventure – we’re doing it just because it’s good fun and interesting!
