Program - Day 3 - Sunday, 4 April 2021

6.00am to 8.30am - Breakfast

No sleeping in this morning - this is Alfesta! Rise and shine and join the other Alfisti for a full hot and cold buffet breakfast in the Mclaren Vale Function Centre.

8.30am - Daily Briefing

OK, we're in the groove now; it's briefing time again. During the daily briefing we outline the schedule for the day and take care of any administration issues.

9.00am - The Ray Sharp Memorial Observation Run.

Sharpen your pencils, as well as keeping your eyes, wits & brains Sharp. You will be learning (possibly) more than you need, or want, to know about the region, and yourselves, as you follow our clear, precise (if maybe, sometimes, a little bit cryptic) instructions in order to get to Lunch.  Directions

1:00pm - Lunch

Mystery Destination, but you have to complete the Observation Run to get there!

2:30pm to 5:00pm - Free Time

Your choice - drive some scenic roads, visit wineries, distilleries or breweries, galleries, go hiking or meander along a beach.  But be sure you leave enough time to get tizzied up for tonight's Gala Dinner!

5.00pm to 6.00pm - Happy Hour

Gather in the Function Centre

Gala Dinner Dancing

6.00pm - Gala Dinner

The traditional Gala Dinner is the highlight of Alfesta.  Drag out your glad-rags, brush off your bow-ties, polish up your tiaras.

Apart from the fine food and sparkling company, you will be entertained by a live band and be able to dance the night (or your feet) away.

The winners of the Alfesta trophies will be announced and there will be cheering, merriment and great rejoicing.

The Gala Dinner is also the stage for a presentation revealing all about Alfesta 2022, to whet your appetite for next year!
